Chef Gilad specializes in modern tropical cuisine, most of which is inspired from working with Thai chefs as well as Costa Rican cooks. He is also well versed in the cuisines of North America, the Mediterranean, Middle East, North Africa, Western Europe and Latin America.

They do their best to source the best local ingredients with never frozen fish, hormone free beef and local fruits and vegetables

PROFILE

Chef Gilad is an experienced cooking instructor that began his teaching career at Kitchen on Fire in Berkeley, CA. Now living in Costa Rica, Gilad continues to teach eager home chefs how to make gourmet meals from the comfort of their home. Popular class themes have been Costa Rica Local Favorites, Latin American Party Foods, Andalucian Tapas, Moroccan Street Food, Pizza and Flatbread Workshop, and Farm to Table Tropical Vegetarian

OUR REVIEW

Chef Gilad is a very nice and easy going person, but, the best of his food is the creativity of taking our costarrican dishes and turn it into a gourmet delight !

He has taking the latin flavors as his inspiration and produce mouth melting new dishes by mixing basic ingredients with special elements of our own culinary culture, but used on unexpected ways.

Coffee, plantain, pork belly, macadamia, mango, coconut, all costarrican flavors presented in a more fun culinary way .

Absolutely wonderful food.

Prices are reasonable, considering the quality he offers.
